Can anyone give me more information on the accelerated interview process for a summer internship?
I was recently invited to participate in Wells Fargo Securities Summer Analyst Program 2018 for Investment Banking accelerated process. I am curious if anyone can explain what this entails? Is it an advantage to participate in this rather than normal fall recruiting? If I am not selected during this accelerated process, will I be able to re-apply during normal recruiting? Also, should I apply for this and limit my prospects only to Wells, or wait until the fall and have the option to apply to other banks besides just Wells? Thanks for your help!

Question about early/accelerated recruiting for SA (Originally Posted: 07/07/2017)
Are there significant pros to trying to land a SA offer early as opposed to going through the normal recruiting cycle?
I've been networking since May but I haven't put much thought to applying to certain banks by their early deadlines. Am I at a disadvantage because I'm recruiting at the regular cycle, and if so, which banks in particular take most of their summer analyst classes by the end of summer?
Sorry if these questions seem dumb, but I'd appreciate some input on this. Thanks.
If you're ready to submit your app now there isn't much reason to wait as you can potentially get an offer early and not have to worry about it later on
