I think as long as you are working in a field that is related to your major, you will be fine.
It depends. If the "banking job" qualifies as an H-1B specialty occupation, then your new employer can submit an H-1B petition to USCIS for the job. If approved you will now have an H-1B under the new employer/job.
You can't just show up to a new employer and work using your existing H-1B; H-1B is tied to both the employer and occupation; if you move jobs, your new employer must re-petition.
