Can someone majoring in Accounting still have access to more Finance related internships?

Like AM/WM internships, IB internships, Commercial/Corporate Banking internships, Credit, etc?

Will they be looked at any differently or have a lower chance of getting an internship because of them not pursuing a Finance degree? I'm thinking of becoming an Accounting major since I am not going to be at a target school and it has been advised to me by many people that if I am not going to be attending a target school (I am going to be going to community and transferring to no name state school) it is safer for me to major in Accounting rather than Finance which has a bigger emphasis on where you attended University.

My goal really is to at the very least break into Commercial/Corporate Banking (dreaming of IB though), while also having no issue of falling back on Big 4 Audit/Tax since Accounting does interest me too. I was wondering if me having an Accounting degree would make it difficult for me to pursue the more Finance related internships though, like the ones listed above, especially for Credit which I've heard is an excellent way to break into Corporate Banking. Thank you.
