Choosing location of preference on job application,,,, need advice!
I am a Canadian citizen with a US greencard currently in last of year of studies at a Canadian institution (McGill)
When applying for entry level analyst position for different companies, they ask you for your top 3 office of preference.
I am wondering whether choosing US locations would hurt my chances. My top locations for most companies are: 1. NYC // 2. Boston/San Francisco and 3. Toronto/Washington D.C.
Ideally, I would LOVE to live in NYC, but not sure if I'd be better off applying to Toronto or Montreal office.
Any insights to this would be appreciated
