citi IBD FT 2010 rejection letters???

So this is my situation. I applied via the regular Citi website in early october. my application got declined. ...then randomly on my college career website (non-target) there was an advertisement for IBD FT, so I submitted my resume which is not associated with the Citi website, just a resume submission. I got a phone interview, it went great. But this was a week before christmas. So before christmas I emailed the recruiter asking my status, and she said to log into my citi account. It said declined....but i'm not sure if that was same status that was always there or if that was a updated declination. I'm doubtful that the HR department is efficient and organized enough to match up my previous online application with my resume submission.

its been a month since my phone interview. there hasn't been any formal email regret letter like they have done in the past when I interviewed with them for the summer analyst position. What should I do? Should I contact my phone interviewer? Contact the recruiter again? ...or has too much time passed already.

It's been a really long time-- You should contact the recruiter again, but don't expect much. My thought is that they decided not to take another FT and forgot to get back with you since they are busy with SA recruiting.

1styearBankerYou got rejected. Move on. I'm sure it's happened many times in your life and will happen many times more.

your arrogance is fucking disgusting. the best thing that could happen and what the world needs right now would be for you to get fired and lose your job. i doubt anyone would wanna work with a prick like you

ps - apt screen name, enjoy your " 1styear" at banking cuz i doubt with your shitty attitude you'll be able to stick around for any more than that
