Cover letter for Experienced Candidate (5 years WE)

I have been asked to write a cover letter for a warm intro. Most cover letters I have seen have been written with undergrads in mind so I wanted to ask how would a cover letter with few years of experience (5ish years) be structured? I would think you would need to talk a bit more about your work experience as opposed to qualities like hardwork etc
