Current Junior Late to IB?

I’m a current junior at Tufts University with a 3.8/4 and I don’t have previous business/finance experience because I was previously on the pre med track but I realized this is what I want to do now. I know most banks have filled their IB SA positions for 2024 so I’m wondering if there’s any other options I can go about with this or if it might be better to delay my graduation to Dec 2026 so that I can apply to SA for 2025? Also, if anyone knows of any IB internships that are still open in the NYC area please let me know!

I'm a NARP so I already hate you but will give some thoughts. You don't have a shot at any sexy names this summer, not because you're not qualified just because that time has passed. Your best shot at IB this summer is at a no-name shop that doesn't have a formal annual recruitment process but may be looking for a one-off hire. Alternatively, just land any finance gig this summer and pray the hiring market picks up so you can re-recruit for full-time late this upcoming summer (this is what I did, although this finance gig was definitely legit and competitive).
