I wonder if this is this the case in Canada. I know a few people working in PE and VC firms out of undergrad here and have been told comp is a touch lower. No doubt high brand names in the US pay more though.
Basically any quant or prop trading firm. Have a buddy from school working at a quant making 500k base year 1. He’s also like the smartest fucking dude ever so
In Canada? Lol good luck finding anything paying even close to banking aside from buyside out of undergrad at certain firms and swe jobs that are not relevant to your experience

Plenty — easy example is basically any buyside (PE/HF/VC etc.)
Genuine question: how feasible is it to land any of those roles straight out of undergrad?

Short answer is buyside and sellside jobs, PE / HF / VC / ER / S&T (Other high finance jobs basically).
On a real, why is this getting MS? I mean okay so ER and VC probs don't make more then IB but still great salaries out of undergrad.
Because the question was about what makes more and you included jobs that don’t make more
In Canada, Whitehorse (Dawson) comes to mind
Nobody:
