Did not get a IB internship for upcoming 2021 summer of senior year. How can I break in?
I have interviewed at MM investment banks for IB internship, but ultimately panned worked out. I have great grades, go to a B1G business school that is well-known for finance and possess an interest for learning about IB. Because of networking and connections, I know I can have a corporate strategy internship at a MM. I know a few analysts that have lateraled from strategy to IB by networking and talking about modeling and M&A experience. What should I do knowing I want my career to go into IB?
