Distinguishing yourself at a target
Hello monkeys!
I’m looking for a little advice.
I have a 4.0 at H/W and am in one or two investment clubs on campus. But, it seems quite a few students have a similar profile (3.9+), and, from what I’ve heard, the distinction past ~3.8 doesn’t matter as much. If this is the case, I was wondering how students who go straight to places like BX PE and PJT RSSG distinguish themselves and manage to get those few spots, after meeting this GPA cutoff.
Is it networking? Killing the interview?
Thanks!
