Two scenarios:
- Signing an offer then calling them back a few months later to tell them you decided to go to another company (I heard it can be sugar coated by saying something like I decided to go to graduate/law school)
- Receiving an offer but kindly rejecting w/o signing within the two week period they give you to decide
If I ever, in the far future, wanted to work for those companies, would I be blacklisted?

My parents and career coach. Last year I got two SA offers at BB. I picked one over the other. But the one I picked didn't give me mobility so I signed my return offer but think I'm going to call them back and reject if I get a better one or into grad school.
One of my mentors work in a HR role and she told me if you word it properly and give a compelling reason, you won't be blacklisted, but if you say that you'll be joining another firm, then they won't take to kindly to that. I would just come up with a good excuse (lie) if the case is that you'll be going to another firm

Hey guys, I would like to test my luck and send out some apps to some BB's, if I get rejected directly (not even invited to first round), am I banned for like 6 months or even for ever or could I easily reapply again?

Short answer: no. If your experience improves or someone else likes your resume down the line - things could work out.
It could make it a quick "no" in the future if the resume is that awful though
Or even if you got barely rejected and somebody else reneged. Happens to some folks.

I have two. At this one particular firm, I interviewed there twice and I bombed one of the interviews after going through unofficial channels. The relationship ended on a sour note and I think they probably kept a note or something in their recruiting system. I think that put me on the blacklist. Heard the culture at the firm sucks anyway. I recently applied to the company again because I saw a new opening and got a rejection email a day later. Not planning to apply to these companies for a very long from now on.
I am blacklisted at almost every firm everywhere.
