Do final year of school remotely to work at boutique PE firm?

Hey all.

I'm being recruited by a boutique PE firm that wants me to start an internship in the fall and finish my final year of school remotely (~3hr away geographically). It's do-able because one of the guys there did the same thing last year and he's the one who recommended they approach me.

Some details: - eight month internship - no guaranteed job on the other end (they said it would be based on deal flow) - minimal pay ($500/week) - receive equity in the company's we deal with

It's an amazing opportunity but I'm very hesitant to give up my last year at school since I genuinely love all my time there. Really looking for any advice people can give me.

I'm currently doing a summer internship in DCM and was hoping to get a FT offer into the rotation program at the end of the summer.

Cheers
