Do I have a good chance getting an interview / offer?

I recently applied to an analyst role that listed 1-3 years of experience in its qualifications; however, I technically only have around 6 months of full-time work experience (at a BB) and around 1.5+ yrs of experience including all my internships (3 of them at large-cap corporates). In the past, there were some people who got into the same analyst position right out of college and some who got into this analyst position with like 8+ years of experience. So, I asked a VP connection from this company (same team but different location) whether he would recommend that I apply to the position at this time and he stated that he spoke with the hiring manager and said that "it could work" and then provided a referral for me. The VP had previously told me that my resume / experience was among the top few resumes that he has seen.

The company I'm applying to isn't exactly a very competitive place to get into (relative to BBs, MFs, etc); however, given that I have a bit less experience (although very related and high-quality experience), do you guys think that I have a good chance of getting an interview / offer from this company?

Thanks!
