do they ID at internship interviews?

Hello all. I am a soon to be high-schooler and I want to have as many internships as possible before college to get experience in the industry and see how I like it. However, upon searching for opportunities, I see that most places require you be older than I currently am to even apply reguardless of skills. Do they ID at interviews for internships or require official documentation on you? If so could said documentation be faked? I have a pretty cool uncle whose ID I'm sure I could use (my parents say I look like him)

Dude are you fuckin serious? You're not even in high school yet. You're not even old enough for a driver's license/reliable transportation. Don't get me wrong, i think it's great that you're taking this much of an interest in finance/banking/whatever so early on, but shouldn't you be at summer camp or something? I'd tell you to enjoy your summers while you can, but you're not even anywhere NEAR an age where your freedom is going anywhere. If you're that determined then find a family member or friend that wouldn't mind showing you some things. But I highly doubt any firm would ever take you seriously. I don't mean to be offensive. To answer your question: of course. Any legitimate firm would ask you for some kind of identification. You're in middle school. Come on dude.

Edit: Not to mention, counterfeiting shit is a surefire way to fuck yourself before you even get started in this business. The fact that you're even considering it makes me think that you're either A) Naive as hell or B) A troll. I hope its the latter.

IHOP or IBANK delivers again. Sorry dude but even with faked documentation you being at a nontarget middle school is going to get you dinged right off the bat at most places. My target middle school had OPR (On playground recruiting) for GS/MS/JPM and a lot of the kids there had already had significant bulge bracket experience through Financial Modeling for Toddlers programs.
