Does this sophomore summer internship help?
I recently received an offer at a big real estate firm to do fund performance, accounting, reporting. and honestly, as a sophomore I'm tired of recruiting at this point and want to settle for this offer at a great company but not in terms of division. What I'm worried about is being stuck in this type of role, but then again that feels stupid to say since I'm still a sophomore.
I also want to recruit for IB next semester, does this internship help me at all? How could I spin this for why IB? (I want to pursue the real estate/lodging group)
Thoughts?
I think that it's better than nothing, especially with next semester being so soon, and I think that you could spin the accounting side as an opportunity to build up skills you know will be useful to have.
That's a good point, yeah honestly so grateful I received an offer now and do not need to recruit concurrently for 2024 and 2025 summer roles.
u could literally spin any corporate job into why ib lmao
sophomore internships arent as important as ppl make it out to be unless its a reputable BB/MM sophomore program
