Does your school determine your salary for the same job? Assuming same productivity

If there are 2 analyst positions available and 2 people went to different schools (same age), 1 went to a state school, the other went to an ivy league college. The 2 analyst positions are in the same company, doing the same thing. Assuming all things being equal, does the person with the ivy league degree get a higher salary even though both people are doing the same thing everyday?

Another scenario I want to ask about is GPA. Assuming the 2 people went to the same school, 1 had a 3.33 GPA and the other had a 3.75 GPA. For the same position within the same company, assuming all other things being equal, does the person with a higher GPA get a higher salary for the same job/productivity as the other person?
