Don't know where to start

I am a rising Junior with a basic business development internship for a metals trading company. I'm learning a lot about office jobs in general, logistics, commodity markets, and soft skills on the phone. However, this is nowhere near a finance related field. I love the idea of sales & trading, but don't really know where to start preparing for networking calls, or interviews. If I'm too late for anything good, let me know. But if anyone has just basic advice on what to learn/where to start, everything is appreciated.

BTW im no Harvard scholar, nor do I intend on being able to get a high level IB internship. Just want to put myself in the best position possible and learn as much as I can.
