Dutch Bankers: any piece of advice for internationals?
Dag Dutch people,
I am an international searching for an internship in IB, particularly in ECM, DCM, Structured Finance. In your opinion, do international applicants do something often that bothers you or that is culturally blind? For example, I realised that cover/motivation letters have a greater value here than in the US. What is the typical structure that Dutch applicants follow in their cover letters? Lastly, any advice on interviews would be welcome too. E.g, type of words used, assertive vs humble language. Thanks!
