Email Follow up Advice - NYC BB Summer Internship
Hi,
What advice would you give in the following situation:
I applied for a summer internship with a BB in NYC. I met a senior MD form the bank afterwards, and she encouraged me to write to HR to follow up my application. I sent an HR contact at the bank an email and CC'd the Senior MD, but I haven't heard back from the HR department on my application.
Any thoughts? Its been 5 days. Should I send another email to inquire?

He's a senior managing director at a bulge bracket. I imagine your email isn't a high priority for him. Give it two weeks and then you can follow up. Also download the banana tag extension on gmail so you know when and how often someone opens the emails you send.
