Exceeding the number of permitted IB applications
Hey guys. Just wanted to ask this (dumb) question in case anyone has an idea. I am applying to a bank that allows applications for 2 programmes maximum. I have stupidly applied to two IB SAs in two different locations. Later I've come to know that I didn't have to because the recruiting team for IB might've recommended me to a different location based on my CV.
Now I missed out the chance to apply for global markets which I am genuinely interested in too.
Would it be a problem if I created a different account and applied to a different programme to get around it? Assuming my data won't migrate automatically to my existing profile.
1) revoke one application internally on the HR portal, if possible
2) contact your HR person and ask to be deleted and referred internally for the second location.
3) create the new application with the same account (don't create alternate accounts on HR platforms, unless you have a different identity/profile in a different country or due to data protection laws in that nation)
What do you mean you are interested in both Markets and IBD? Lets not take the piss here son, you should be set on a career path by now if you are applying to summers
