Fall/Spring opportunities

Currently a freshman at semi-target. Aiming for a EB for summer 2027. I have a decent resume and doing some PE work through this summer. What're thoughts on trying to get some off-cycle work through fall/spring semester of my sophomore year to increase chances of getting an EB offer.

Also-to network for these roles should I start ASAP or wait until summer
