Federal Reserve Drug Screening
Does anyone here have experience/are familiar with the Federal Reserve Drug screening process for interns. I was offered a position at the FRBNY this summer and scheduled my screening. I was curious as to if they are more likely to do a hair or urine test. I wouldn't expect a hair test for a summer intern but have heard that the corporate drug test culture is moving in that direction. Not that either one will be an issue, just stressful regardless. thanks
Why is it stressful if it's not an issue unless you've been snorting/smoking/vaporizing?
Most probably a urine test- that is standard procedure. I never heard of any job hair-testing for entry-level hires, or any for that matter.
^Agree. Why would anything be stressful if you have nothing to hide? This makes no sense.

Just because the kid isn't a goody two shoes who's scared to do anything out of line doesn't mean that this isn't a justified question.

I have a screen coming up with the Fed too. I was very curious as to which test they use -- needless to say, I'm worried too.
Did you take your test yet? If so, which kind did they use? I sincerely hope it's not hair follicles..

I did a (relatively) useless summer internship there when I was in high school, and they required a urine test. YMMV.
