Financial Advisors
Hello all. I’m an engineer by education and experience that made the jump to corporate finance. I’m currently an associate manager conducting FP&A. Getting my MS in finance.
I’ve always thought about being a financial planner/advisor and worked on it in my personal time. I got my life/health/LTC licenses out of the way and then was contacted by a few groups to see if I wanted to move into the advisory space.
Are all financial advisors just insurance salesmen? Are there firms out there that I could target to get substantial advisory experience?
