Financial Careers Available without an Ivy League degree requirement?

I am very disappointed that I didn't apply myself as well as I could have in school. I know I won't make it into the Ivy League, unless I work really hard and try to build connections and get into a lower ranked Ivy school. I really want to do something business-oriented, closer to finances. I was thinking about investment banking because my research tells me that my interests fit into that career. But investment banking is a career for Ivy grads! What other careers are open to me that pay well and are business/finance oriented?

Nice reading comprehension, I think you might be the troll.

To the OP, you don't need to be Ivy League to be successful. Get into the best program you can, work your ass off, and don't look back. If you read this thread in a few years (maybe even one) you will chuckle at your naivety.

When a plumber from Hoboken tells you he has a good feeling about a reverse iron condor spread on the Japanese Yen, you really have no choice. If you don’t do it to him, somebody else surely will. -Eddie B.
