For those who didn't make it in banking, where did you end up?

And do you like where you ended up?

I ended up in an advisory function at a Big 4. Obviously it doesn't pay as much as banking but and the stuff I work on isn't front page of WSJ worthy, but it pays decently and I get face time with clients on a regular basis and actually utilize the stuff I had learned in college. I wouldn't say I adore it because you know, it's work; it's not supposed to be fun. I'm still disappointed in myself a lot for not being capable enough to land a banking job out of undergrad, especially while so many my friends back in college did and got 6-figure salaries right out of college. But I think it's alright all things considered.
