For those who work/worked in finance (IB, PE, HF, Pensions), what do you do now?

Those of you who went to BB Banking, PE, HF, ER, Buyside pension funds and the like right out of university or later in your career. What do you do now?

The conversation always seems to end at 2 years of banking then 2 years of pe or B school. What about after that? Maybe it's just this forum is dedicated to breaking in and short sighted, but I am curious about what happens afterwards, does the rat race continue or drop off?

Surely not everyone in these roles becomes MD, partner, or PM. Anyone of you leave the rat race for something different? and what percent of people are actually reaching MD/Partner?
