Fund Placement Experience Relevant?
Last semester I wrapped up an 8 month stint at a Boutique IB in Atlanta mainly working on M&A Deals, Debt Raises, and some LBOs. I took a couple of months off and then started another internship at a fund placement group to get some more "qualitative" experience, as many of the clients are PEGs, but have found the work to be pretty dry. Daily work is mainly news wire reseearch, CRM management etc.
Should I stick it out here for another couple of months?
Would this in any way boost my resume?
I graduate at the end of this year and am trying to set myself up for the fall recruiting season for a full time IB analyst position at another bigger boutique, STRH, etc.
