GAP Year for a better offer?

Hello, I have recently graduated grade 12 and sadly I did not apply to Western Ivey. Now I am regretting this decision. I had a 91% average and got into a rather middle tier business school from what it seems (Mcmaster Degroote). I really want a good job in the future and want to know which would be more detrimental towards my future, taking a year off and upgrading my english and calculus which could bring me to a 94-95% average and using my time for a job and volunteering or doing to degroote and working extra hard to stand out? Please help me
