Gender & Sexuality studies for IB?

Been browsing this site for a while, and looking for some answers before starting my undergrad program at NYU. How much does degree subject matter when recruiting for investment banking? I’m studying gender & sexuality studies which is a subject I’m very passionate about & honestly can relate to quite a bit. Will this hold me back whatsoever as it isn’t a very quantitative degree? I’ve heard degree subject doesn’t matter so hoping I’m not discriminated against when recruiting.
