Geopolitical Advisory ? (LAZ, ROTH, etc.)
Does anyone have good info on what these roles look like / what sort of work you cover (technical or otherwise)? Feel like I’ve see a couple of banks open arms related to this practice (JPM and GS, some other EBs too have).
Seems like an interesting cross section of geopolitics / international relations and finance and that combo is pretty appealing to me.
Also curious what potential exits might look like. Would this be more a long term gig, or could you move from there to something like Macro HF?
Geopolitical advisory roles at firms like Lazard (LAZ), Rothschild (ROTH), and other elite boutiques (EBs) or bulge brackets (e.g., JPM, GS) are indeed a fascinating intersection of geopolitics, international relations, and finance.
