Going from Asset Management to Management Consulting
I'm an junior at a target school majoring in hard STEM. I spent my last summer working at a large asset manager in a region specific role (communicated with clients on a daily basis in the native language) and did a lot of investment strategy work. I didn't receive any consulting offers from MBB this year (my GPA is probably low ~3.5 even though I'm in STEM) and am looking to go back to a more quant role at said AM. What other opportunities do you think I should look for if I want to recruit for MBB consulting for full-time? F500 Corp Strategy? Any thoughts are appreciated.
