When the interview feels conversational and they respond to your thank you email.
conversational, chat about stuff non-interview related, they feel comfortable with you, laugh/smile, etc
i have never had a interview like this, i mean sometimes they joke/smile i tend to smile a lot and not give off a serious vibe but guess it doenst work so need to work on it
This. Every offer I've gotten had a late / final round that ended up being a lot more casual than I expected. Ended up getting offers at most of them.
Whenever it is too serious, I often expect they already have another candidate in mind or the job doesn't even exist (ghost job).
When they ask how your father is doing
I agree w the above mentioned but I would still like to point out just write a thank you email and forget about it after the interview. Instead of you dwelling on how you performed in it, use the time to prep for your behav and technicals for your next one so you can get more comfortable. I know of people who were having a conversation with the interviewer on Linkedin after connected after the interview still didn't to the next round.
