6 months, in the finance division of the Investment Bank in UBS, Zürich. So freakin' pumped. Not and IB internship but I'll be in the same building so that's sweet.
I have a scheduled Credit Suisse interview for a PB Hedge Fund internship, which honestly, appeals to me more than the UBS one but I can't afford to say NO to UBS (I have to answer them tomorrow) and run the risk of not getting the CS one. Will give them a call tomorrow to say I got an offer from UBS and thank them for everything. I honestly can't let this opportunity slip through my hands, this is huge for me! First experience ever!
Thing is, they want me to start July 15th, which is in less than 2 weeks. I need to find accommodation within 2 weeks! I sent them an email asking them if they help in any way to find somewhere to stay. Is such a thing even possible in 2 weeks?? Will I have to stay in a hotel a few days/weeks until I find something?
Do big banks, like UBS, help with this kind of thing? I mean, they literally have hundreds of interns, it's the headquarters of IB, there must be something.
I need to do so much! I don't even know what I'm supposed to wear. The people that interviewed me weren't in suits, only white button up shirt open at the top and suit pants.
I have a suit. Should I go out and buy some shirts and pants?? what about ties??? How many?? aaaaahhhh
p.s. does anyone have some sort of check-list or something that has all the different things a finance intern should take/not take?
