you can probably get it expunged off your record before you even start. If you are in college, and got a citation for something typical of college students (public urination, MIP) you generally need to go to court, and at least from what I've seen, if it's the first one, they will clear it.

Unless you got some huge field reduction, it always pays to fight the ticket.

Plead not guilty, go to court, cut a plea bargain for 0 points. Or if you are working full-time, hire an attorney.

On Monday, I am going to be in court to fight a parking ticket. This comes down to an interpretation of whether "park where stalls are marked" applies to motorcycles parked in driveways across the street from said marked stalls.

The first thing you should always do in this situation is go post your traffic ticket dilemma on a finance website. Oh - you're way ahead of me. Top man.

You can hire speed ticket lawyer. I was also given speed ticket at US Route 65 of Benton County of Kansas city. Due to my busy schedule I couldn't able to go personally to submit my fine. One of my friend provided me the reference of http://www.missouriticketlawyer.com/local-traffic-.... I visited them online and my fine was also reduced .

did you even bother to look at the date of the last post on this thread or nah.

1) Confirm that you will not be on a sex offender list. In my state you would be. 2) Carefully read the background check forms. Some require you to disclose minor infractions and others do not. 3) Stop peeing in public, you're too old for that shit 4) Next time, don't pay the fine. Contest it so it is dismissed or plead it down. It may cost you $500-800 more to hire an attorney if you don't want a public defender but is worth it to have something like "public intoxication" or "nuisance" on your permanent record vs. "whipped out his junk in public".

P.S. Adding since there is a small chance you did plead this out since you don't think it's a "criminal offense". I do know for a fact that an arrest showed up on my background check for an experienced hire role (DUI, reduced to reckless driving - BG check showed both the code for the arrest and the "reckless driving" on my record). They did not ask about mine, but if they ask about yours you can simply say "There was a misunderstanding, I was arrested, but they did not press criminal charges". If they really aren't criminal it just sounds like there was an asshole cop.
