Graduated with no offer - any advice?

Hi all,

As the title states, I graduated with no offer. I am from a non-target school in the Northeast, have done a S&T internship at a smaller firm, and have an okay GPA (3.64.) A few months ago, I got a S&T superday at a medium-sized firm but unfortunately, I choked on the second panel and didn't receive an offer. I have been applying to many IB, research, and S&T over the past few weeks and haven't even gotten assessments yet. Usually, I apply to stuff I see on LinkedIn and Handshake. Sometimes, I'll go on the career website and find postings there.

Should I be changing stuff up? Applying to different roles? Also, I see many on this forum say networking is beneficial but my school has only recently started placing in IB, and many of the people who work in these roles are only analysts or associates, with the exception of maybe 5 VPs across all firms. Do you think they can still help me?

Another thing I'm finding is that there aren't many postings out there for recent graduates, at least right now. Will this heat up again at some point or is this just how it is?

Any advice or tips would really mean the world to me.

Networking is essential.

I never got an internship from applying blindly. Do not only focus on alumni, try to find others that may be willing to take a call (from your area, athlete, frat, etc).
