GS career dashboard status says Interview
Hi, I had couple rounds of interview with VPs for a MO/BO role. Every time I had interview, the career dashboard for this position reflected the date and status as "Interview" for each round. However, after my last round in office, with another VP and a MD (sounds to me the final round), I haven't heard anything back for two weeks. No email no phone call from anyone from GS. When I checked the status on the dashboard, it had been showing "Interview" at 6/15. Today, I just checked in again, the data was updated to 6/29, but status is still "Interview".
Anybody has any experience what the hack does it mean? I am still being considered or looks like the update was just random act by HR? I am sitting to accept another offer for a local firm, but would definitely go with GS if offer granted. Should I keep waiting? Thank you guys!
So - I can only be of limited help here but I had a friend who interviewed for a back office role that waited like 3.5 weeks to hear back about whether or not he got it or not so they take their good sweet time. I don't think what you saw online means anything.
Thank you for your response. Is it possible to let me know whether your friend got the offer or not? I would like to see how likely they are still considering to give me an offer after 3 1/2 weeks... I am sitting on the 3rd week now and I will need to give a response to my local firm offer. Thanks again
You will get a response from HR before the status changes. The status only changes after a decision is made.
Thank you for your response. Do you think they will notify me even I am rejected? Half year ago, I applied for a BO role and the HR reach out to me for the resume screen. After that, I had not hear anything from them, until I found out online status changed from "review" to "currently not being considered" about a month later. Nobody contacted me any more after the initial phone resume screen.
