GS Reply after interview - panic!

Hi Guys,

So I interviewed at GS on Wednesday and they told me it is a very fast moving interview process (it's for a graduate scheme) and I thought the interview went quite well. HR told me that if I get through, the second stage is more interviews and they will be this week.

It's Tuesday and I haven't heard back...should I assume that's a no? I emailed HR and they didn't reply. I thought the interview went well so I don't want to give up hope but wondered if I should?

Thanks.

They probably hate you.

You killed the Greece spread goes up, spread goes down, from Wall Street they all play like a freak, Goldman Sachs 'o beat.

this probably just means that you are in the "maybe" zone, if they wanted you they would have let you know right away, if they knew that they didn't they would have let you know within the next few days. They probably just think you would be a decent candidate if whoever they told to move on to next round won't work out. I am sure you will hear back from them soon.

Thanks for everyone's advice - I have now been invited for a final round :)

Good luck, I am heading for super day in an hour. 6-hours of being grilled should be fun :)

How come they are interviewing now? Is it some special interviewing process? is it with the NY office?
