HELP HELP PLS-how to get back to a salary job after 8 years being a day traders.

HI guys, I have been an equity trader ( day trader ) for various trading firms from the early 2001, i did very well from 02 to 2008, but the last 3 years has not been the same! in fact i did not make any money trading the last 2years and lost money of my own. I decided to get back to traditional desk job ( salary ), but so far i have been unsucessful to get anything. I have a BA in Eco n Bus management, Series 7, 63, 55. During the last 10 years, i was pretty much my own boss since my job was a performance base. Now, i really need a salary job to support my family, but so far the only response i got it from those sales jobs from insurance comapanies such as met,ny life, axa, pru , bac...ect.. and dont want to do sales again. I dont mind to start out fresh from the bottom again. even for any Entry level for financial anaylyst, research analyst, trader support , portfolio associate..ect or whateve that pay me a base salary, as long as its within the financial services. Does anyone out there go through what i am going through now? i am starting to have a serious doubt about myself. Pls advise me where to start or share any thought on this. It would be greatly appreciated guys. Have a good evening.
