Help - Salary negotiation
Hi, I am an ASO1 in a BB IB looking to switch job in another country where the base pay is lower than my current base pay. I have a meeting with HR (I have already met other members of the team) for a new position (similar to my current job) in this other country and I really want the job. I would not mind a salary cut however I do not want to show HR that I am willing to accept nearly every economic proposal as I don't want HR to think that I would accept anything. At the same time, I don't want to lose a potential offer because I would be "too expensive". How do I navigate this? Do you have any suggestions on how I should approach the chat with HR?
