Helping our fellow monkeys

Hi, has anyone helped a random person from here land a job in banking before? I see all the discussions and everyone for the most part seems very well mannered and respectful and I would generally expect some of us to help one another get their foot in the door. If not would you be willing to help someone get a interview? Asking for a friend. Thanks!

Yes, I mentor people who reach out to me and are genuine/serious about pursuing IB. I like to give back to the community and be the guide to getting an IB job that I never had.

No one is going to just get you a job. You have to show your commitment and dedication to the role by being prepared and putting in the effort. This is why when you network and know what you are talking about both technically and behaviorally, people might give you an interview.

Hope that makes sense.
