Here`s my strategy

Hi,

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Goal: I need to bridge the experience gap for an entry position. I am aiming Transactional Services / corporate finance (M&A).

Here`s my strategy:

1) Practice excel modelling / M&A trainings off high quality videos&books (wall street training + Wall Street Prep + McKinsey's book "Valuation")

2) Build my own financial research with modelling to show future employers that I am already comfortable with the required tasks.

3) Stay up to date with industry news, be able to comment on anything related to front office finance.

Thanks guys!

Are you a student or what? How can we know if this is a good plan or not if we don't know your current situation?

In general: perfect your resume, make contacts in the industry, find jobs to apply for, apply to said jobs, be knowledgeable and passionate when you're interviewing and you should be okay.
