horrible idea to recruit for jobs but not disclose i quit IB and am unemployed?
so after i got my bonus i quit, analyst 1 IBD NYC BB. I am applying for corp dev jobs. i assume on my resume and interviews i 100% need to disclose i do not work there.
do companies 100% confirm this, they would call my bank? I assume I definitely cannot lie but wanted to check just incase.
Also, then, how do I frame why I am unemployed? Honest answer was group was insanely sweaty and I got burnt out. How do I explain this in interviews if I have to disclose this?
If you make it to background / referral stage, they will 100% confirm your employment status.
Might as well don’t lie on your resume and submit app with your end date shown on your resume.
