How can I get into banking? (Miami)

Hello Everyone!

I'm looking for some guidance on what I should do in order to land a job in PWM or Private Banking in Miami, FL. Ideally I would like to become a CRM for a decent bank/firm.

Some details about myself: 28 years old, got a Bachelors in International Business from FIU (GPA 3.65), multilingual (English/Portuguese/Spanish), strong sales and customer service skills, great communication and outgoing personality, 6+ years work experience (mostly international sales).

My biggest challenge now is the lack of financial market experience, so I plan on starting a Masters program, however I really can't figure out if I should do an MBA or MS in Finance or if it's even worth it.

What should I do next if I can't intern due to my full time job that pays my bills. Should I go to school and then try to make it in?

Thanks in advance!

Bernard
