I'm a fresh graduate from college and looking to move into sell side ER or M&A advisory areas, hell even public or municipals. Evercore has some interesting opportunities. I will be taking my CFA I exam in June and will be looking into other opportunities outside of my job in brokerage possibly then. Just wanted a perspective coming from a non-target.

Extremely competitive.
They have their ISI group in the ER space, and is possibly the single most competitive ER group to get into.
Their IBD practice is even more intense to FT recruit into, as they give returns to >80% of their summer interns, and other spots are often taken by candidates coming from comparable firms.
Best bet would be to gain relevant experience at a resepectable shop and aim to lateral.
