How do I describe my skills in cold emails?

In networking / cold emails for job inquiries, I typically follow this format:

  • Introduce myself and my background
  • How I found the position or individual.
  • What skills makes me qualified OR why that individual
  • Ask to connect

I guess this is specifically for job / internship inquiries but how do I describe my skills concisely without being too general at the same time? For background, I worked in valuations, preparing valuation opinions for intangible assets, businesses, stock compensation, and fund portfolios. To capture the skills involved, I just say "financial modeling and analysis." What are some suggestions to make this better?
