How do I get an informal internship?
Taking a gap year before uni and am looking to get ANY finance work experience, although I am looking to recruit for IB during uni. Would I even be taken seriously sending my CV and cold emailing people at (boutique) firms across LDN as someone who hasn’t even started uni yet? Secondly, would firms allow a (2)-week-long experience rather than much longer like normal? Could anyone who has had success doing this—even if after 1st year and not before uni—pls give some key tips. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
