Currently in the background check process at a BB in London for summer. They use an outsourced firm who reached out to me a few weeks ago and I had to upload some documents (proof of address, identity, employment etc)

Happens, but basically never.
Just google on background checks, every year there's like 10 posts of people scared of being called out on stealing a pen when they were 8. It's banking, not the CIA.
