How should I balance comp sci with finance/econ?

I'm thinking of doing a econ/finance and CS double major at a non target school (currently a high school senior and still deciding school).

Would if it be bad to split my internships and actives in college between the two? So one summer I might do work at a startup/personal projects and maybe another summer I'd do more econ/finance oriented internships. Maybe some fintech stuff if it works.

I was wondering how much I'm hurting myself since I'd go to a non target school and I'm not devoting all my time to finance stuff. Would it be better to (1) do some small CS stuff on the side, and only do CS-related internships if I can't do finance stuff, or (2) is it better to pick whichever one I like better.
