How the hell are you supposed to answer those damned online assessments?

It says answer honestly as you would in real life but we know it ain't damn true. So how are you supposed to answer those? For example, I answer such that I value team cooperation, work>life, etc, basically a workaholic but I just can't figure out what they want to see from it? People that have done those online assessments and passed (without father being MD), how did you answer it as? Thanks

As I've said before... fill out a fake application, receive the hirevue email, screenshot the questions, and figure out the best answers. These tests are timed for a reason, and if you blow through them with really good answers, then you're boolin.

Copy/paste the question and you'll find them. you don't wanna take the selfish options, because too many will make you auto-fail. You want to show that you're communicative, a team-player, and that you care about the firm. It aint rocket science, and there's normally no 1 right answer.

The guy below me makes a good point too.

from my experience, sometimes going for the work>life options too often can ding you. some firms, god knows why, want to employ actual people. the mind simply boggles...

Thank you for your interest in the 2020 Investment Banking Full-time Analyst Programme (London) at JPMorgan Chase. After a thorough review of your application, we regret to inform you that we are unable to move forward with your candidacy at this time.

I answered them like true/false questions rather than using all of the opinions. These tests are to weed people out and you have to prepare and think as HR does. Once you get through that and make it to the interview then you should be good to go.

Whatever you are be the best version you can
