How to approach getting a sophomore summer internship

Hi all, I am currently a sophomore at Cornell with a 3.8 gpa, how do I go about getting a finance internship with no prior experience. I am currently enrolled in the ILR school and am in a few business clubs as well.

Sophomore year is all about spring weeks - they transition into junior year summer internships. If you lock down a junior year summer internship I suggest taking sophomore year summer off and do some traveling - it's really your last opportunity to really do so before life starts picking up. If you really want a summer job, you're unlikely to get anything BB before junior year unless you're insanely connected, so I recommend cold calling/ emailing some smaller places like small wealth management offices or boutiques.
